SocialCoach December 2023 Release Notes

Video Catalyst is in the SocialCoach App! 

Starting today, SocialCoach+ users can now upload and manage Video Catalyst all from the SocialCoach app and website!

Wait...What's SocialCoach+?

SocialCoach+ is what we call the combined power of SocialCoach and Video Catalyst.

As many of you know, SocialCoach gives loan officers the power to schedule compliant social media content for their social media profiles.

But SocialCoach+ adds Video Catalyst to the mix. With 4 videos scripts sent directly every month, loan officers can record 4 videos and get them professionally edited and published by the SocialCoach team. 

And with today's update, SocialCoach and Video Catalyst just got a lot better. Read on to find out how:

Player Video Catalyst

All SocialCoach+ players now have a card on their SocialCoach app homepage for Video Catalyst. This card will tell them how many video credits they have remaining, and how many videos need their attention.

Clicking on the Video Catalyst card will take you to the VideoCatalyst section of the app. Here, players will be able to see the status of all of their videos and submit new videos for editing.

When submitting a new video, SocialCoach+ players can specify all their preferences for that project:

• Each Video Catalyst project results in one video. Players can add multiple images and videos including multiple takes, B-roll, or branding images. Be aware that all uploaded elements will be used to create one edited video. If users have multiple videos they want edited, a new project should be created for each video.
• Players can choose to write their own caption before they submit the video or have SocialCoach write the caption. Captions will be available for review after the video is edited.
• Players can select to be reminded to post their edited video, or for the edited video to be automatically scheduled to publish. Either way, users will receive a notification that their video is complete so they can review the video and caption, and make changes to the posting schedule.
• If players select to automatically schedule the video to be posted, they can also select which social networks to publish to.
  
  

Coach Video Catalyst

Coaches with Video Catalyst features enabled for their account can see all the Players with video projects, the current status of each project, and the ability to start a new project for a Player. 

From this screen they can click on a project to view both the original files and the final edit.

Player Video Catalyst Review

Once a Video Catalyst project is submitted, Players will get a push notification. 

Completed videos can be viewed from directly inside the SocialCoach app. If the Player had selected the video to automatically post, they can view and adjust the publish date and time, adjust the social channels to publish to. 

If the Player did not select to automatically post the video, they can review the video and then choose to post it now or schedule it to be posted later.

Other Fixes and Changes

"Post This Now" button changed to "Next"

In the SocialCoach app, when looking at a prompt, there used to be a button that said “Post This Now”. 

The wording on the button caused some confusion for a few reasons. Some users were afraid to click “Post This Now” unsure if clicking it would immediately post it to all platforms without allowing them to edit. 

The button has now been edited to say “Next”. 

Clicking this button guides the user through the process to get the prompt ready to either post now or schedule the post for later.
